Our mission-driven organization specializes in care for patients of all ages with complex medical conditions. This is a hospital-based practice that allows our CPOs to provide specialized, innovative care as part of an interdisciplinary medical team. Our CPOs evaluate, fit and adjust all types and complexities of orthoses and prostheses to suit the unique needs of our patients. In doing so, they help families identify and meet orthotic and prosthetic-related goals throughout their lifetime.  

We are seeking a self-motivated professional who is looking for a fulfilling career in direct patient care. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position that does not require weekend or on-call shifts. Together, we can make a difference in our patients' lives.  

Position Purpose:  
Evaluates, casts, measures, designs, fabricates, and fits all types and complexities of orthoses/ prostheses for patients resulting in a comfortable fit and a cosmetically acceptable device that fulfills prescription treatment requirements. Acts as a resource to students and individuals in residency programs.  

Required Qualifications:
-Valid Minnesota Prosthetist Orthotist License.  Individuals new to MN licensure may begin employment in a license eligible status under the supervision of another licensed CPO, as allowable by law.  Must obtain MN license within 90 days of hire. 
                 -To be eligible for MN licensure, this position must also meet certification requirements of either the American Board for Certification (ABC) in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics or the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) and be in good standing with the certifying board.  
-Advanced understanding of typical and pathological gait.
-Constructive communication and interpersonal skills to promote interdisciplinary relationships with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and therapists
-Adaptable to change
-Creative problem solve
-Ability and willingness to conduct educational meetings within the department and community
-Current CPR certification (BLS through American Heart Association) required, or must obtain certification within 90-days of hire
