Albemarle Orthotics & Prosthetics is looking for a full time Certified/Board Eligible Orthotist, Prosthetist, Prosthetist Orthotist or Certified Orthotic Fitter to join our team. We are looking for a practitioner who is a team player and is motivated to help continue to grow our business. We are an established company that has been open for over 20 years with 5 offices and clinic sites to meet all our patients’ needs. Our team combines the experience of our practitioners with emerging technologies and the personal touch of a family-owned business! Pay will be based on experience.

Duties include, but may not be limited to:

· Performs a comprehensive evaluation of the patient to obtain an understanding of the patients’ orthotic needs.

· Creates a comprehensive orthotic treatment plan to meet the needs and goals of the patient.

· Performs the necessary procedures to independently and without direct supervision deliver the appropriate orthotic services, which may include fabrication of the orthosis.

· Provides continuing patient care and periodic evaluation to assure/maintain/document optimal fit and function of the orthosis.

· Complies with policies, procedures, and regulations regarding human resource management, physical environment management, business/financial management, and organizational management.

· Servicing multiple offices/clinic sites to meet company needs.

Skills, Competencies, and Experience (Required):

· Board Eligible or ABC Certified Orthotist

· Experience in a healthcare setting

· Proven human relations skills and professionalism dealing with referral sources, patients, and Physicians.

· Exhibits strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills through both verbal and written communications.

· Ability to resolve issues from patients in a professional and timely manner.

· A team player with overall company goals in mind.
