Job Description
Southwest Prosthetics is looking for an experienced Prosthetic Lab Technician.
Prosthetic Lab Technician Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design prosthetic devices
- Make, modify plaster casts of areas that will be fitted with prostheses for use in the device construction process
- Select materials components to be used, based on device design
- Repair, rebuild, and also modify prosthetics
- Research new ways to construct as well as use prosthetic devices
- Make casts, measurements, and also model modifications
- May supervise laboratory activities relating to development of prosthesis
- Ensure lab is tidy and organized
- Update skills as well as knowledge by attending conferences
Qualifications
– Previous experience in the Health Care industry
– Experience fabricating prosthetics
Job Type:Â Full Time
Schedule:Â Mon-Friday, 9-5pm
