The National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (NAAOP) has announced the first in a series of video webcasts. The purpose of the webcasts, which will be created by NAAOP General Counsel Peter Thomas, is to “help keep our membership and the profession better informed of legislative issues affecting O&P,” said Paul Prusakowksi, CPO, FAAOP, president of NAAOP, in a statement to the association’s membership.
Webcasts will be posted on the NAAOP website and on oandp.com, shared with members via e-mail, and made available through the NAAOP page on Facebook.
In NAAOP’s July webcast, Thomas provides an update on debt ceiling negotiations in Washington DC and entitlement reform.
“These brief video webcasts will allow you to quickly and easily keep informed on hot-topic issues with minimal effort on your part,” Prusakowski said. “With all the changes that are currently taking place in Washington, it is critical that we all stay informed and be prepared to take action when necessary.”
