Many thanks for all the responses to my post concerning tubular rivets. The funny thing is that I wrote that request a looong time ago. It must have gotten gridlocked along the “Information Highway” (how is that for a very dated reference?)
I did find a short-term solution using a larger but similar screw/nut like that used in Sgt. Roy hip joints. I had been to the several sites that were recommended , and could find the size at rivetsonline and McMasters-Carr did not have them either.
