Below is a link to respond to the consideration by CMS to include Spinal and Knee braces in the competitive bid process. I know many of us only focus on Custom Fabricated devices. If we allow companies to flood the market with OTS products by mail (as they already are) we will end up with the mantra that “braces do not work.†We will also end up with many more “same or similar denials.†Give it some long range thought, and comment to CMS prior to December 17th.
