He has been the prosthetist for the US Paralympic Track & Field team since 2011 and accompanies the team to World Championships and the Paralympics Games.
Francois will break down the biomechanics of running, amputee biomotor capabilities, and restoring or developing running capabilities for amputee patients. He’ll discuss prosthetic componentry, socket design, suspension, alignment, and pylon setup. After his presentation, we’ll open the virtual floor for your questions.
