Profuse Perspiration

Todd Norton

I have been working with a bilateral transtibial patient for one year. She has had an above average amount of sweating from the beginning but we have managed with a combination of liner liners, smart temp liners, dry-sol and certain dri. For the last several months she has been in demo liners (which her skin has tolerated the best). She has been wearing them directly against her skin, reflected down so her sleeves can seal to them, and she is in vacuum. She has had some sweating, but nothing problematic, while still using dry-sol every other day (her skin reacts if daily) and certain dry daily. Suddenly the last several weeks she has started sweating profusely, and significantly more on her left leg than her right. Any opinions and/or suggestions.

Thanks.
