As CAAHEP and NCOPE move closer to approving the Orthotist/Prosthetist Assistant Standards, we at Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology are exploring the potential of creating a two year associate degree for O&P assistants to complement our already existing O&P Technologies program. As part of that exploratory process we are gathering as much preparatory information as we can. It can be a long, deliberate and time consuming process to get a university to approve a new degree program, so we want to go into the process with as much pertinent information as we can. I have included a link to a short survey and would appreciate any and all feedback that I can get. The survey will take less than five minutes, doesn’t obligate anybody to anything, and is for our internal informational purposes only.
