Dear Colleagues,
What has your experience been with returning or exchanging Ossur Components
within the 30 day trial period. I have MPK knees in my clinic that patients
can try prior to them deciding which suits them best and then I order their
new components. However we have had cases where patients decide that they
made the wrong choice and may prefer a competitors knee.
However, I was just informed that Ossur does not honour the 30 day trial
period with their MPK Knees. The excuse is that its an FDA approved
component and therefore under FDA rules, the item may not be returned for a
refund as it cannot be re-used.
I must admit they are great with returning and exchanging feet.
I was unaware of this, but thought I would ask the List for their
experiences with MPK knees and return policies.
