Using ones certification to make a contract

Dear List,I am wondering if it has happened to any of you that your employer asked to use your credential to make a contract with Medicare or Medicaid.
If anyone has experienced it, or if you know the pros and cons, precautions, or anything else that may helpful, please let me know.
