Dear Fellow Colleagues,
We recently have come across a situation where a private insurance asking for a manufacturing invoice before they will process a claim even though we already received a prior authorization for codes. We do not wish to divulge this information unless absolutely bound by contract to since we are the manufacturer and the provider. We have sent the MSRP four times and each time has been rejected by the private insurance.
Have any of you come across this recently? If so, how did your organization handle it? Any suggestions on how to go about getting this claim processed would be greatly appreciated.
