Hello everyone, I am looking for a fabrication facility that can incorporate flexible resin within a definitive carbon socket (maybe pre preg?). I have a couple projects I am working on that would greatly benefit this if it can be done. One is a symes socket that would have a flexible medial window. This way I could avoid doing a detachable door (very active and possible incorporating suction) and I don’t want to do an inner bladder on this particular patient. The other is a transtibial socket with flexible trim above the condyles. This patient does well in a long term orfitrans stiff/thermolyn stiff test socket, but the rigidity of a carbon socket seems to introduce new problems. I would love to keep the proximal brim semi-flexible. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
