Dear List-serve,
I am looking for a manufacturer who still makes the metal/leather style chairback orthoses. Freeman no longer carries the Model 8152. They have some extra larges in stock but not a medium. I am replacing a Freeman model 8152-M that is 40 years old. The patient does maintenance work, is very active, and wants the same kind of orthosis. I would like to find another metal/leather/vinyl type not Kydex. I don’t want the wrap around foam linings or any of the fancy pulley systems, just a plain old 8152 style. Does anyone have one sitting on their shelf they would like to get rid of or is their a company that is still making the 8152 style?
