Hello list serv,
I have gotten a request from a physician for a “high tide boot with double lateral heel wedge” for a Brostrom repair/posterior tibial tendon repair.
Has anyone worked on something like this and know what it is and if possible, could send me pictures, or describe it?
The physician’s protocol is attached.
Unfortunately, the protocol only states to use a “high tide boot with double lateral heel wedge” followed by an “ankle brace.”
Let me know what you think ASAP, since they need it by post-op day #10, and apparently the surgery was yesterday…
