I hope this request is appropriate for this forum. My son is a 1st year
engineering student at the University of Virginia and one of his classes
requires him to identify a problem (ANY type of problem) and create a
solution for that problem. I think because it was left so vague, he is
having difficulties generating ideas. It needs to be one that he can
reasonable think through and create a solution for- likely creating an
actual object to resolve the problem. Is there any problem that any of you
face- O&P related or otherwise- that might be a good idea for this
engineering class? Or perhaps a little “ditty” that you’ve created yourself
for a patient that he can expand upon? Perhaps your idea will spark
another, so please share thoughts even if not complete or fully thought
through. And yes, if he patents your idea and makes millions from it, I’ll
get you a cut.
