Being a new technician working as the only technician with one very busy
clinician I do not get to bounce ideas off of people in the lab. So, those
who are on the list to get these emails will have to be my co-workers. 🙂
I have a list of questions and any help would be much appreciated.
I am looking for different materials/ suggestions for foot inserts. Mainly
what is being used for diabetic inserts. What combination of materials do
you guys like the most?
What venders do you guys use for arch supports and shoes outside of
Archfitters and Dr.Comfort?
Is there a suggested guide out there for what temperature to set the oven
to for different materials?
Are there other sites out there for technicians/central fabs for any
fabrication help or even videos on “how to”
I am also looking for:
Study material for the technician and fitter exam anyone may want to share?
A thickness gauge so I can measure what thickness materials are. I have
called a few places but no one seemed to carry them anymore.
