I have a short BK amputee who recently had a lateral meniscus tear. He has
since had a knee surgery for this. The doctor wants to know if I can
incorporate an unloader type knee brace to the prosthesis. I have never
worked with anything like this before other than using a joint and lacer. I
would prefer to stay away from a joint and lacer if possible, but if that is
my only choice will go down that road.
His has always used a durasleeve for suspension for the past 25 years since
his amputation. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
