Greetings all!
I’ve recently met a very large transfemoral amputee, tall and broad but also reasonable waist size as well.
He currently weighs in at 145kg (320lbs), but has gained 20kg (45lbs) in the last 6 months, and may put more weight on.
Newish amputee whom is a 38yo K2/K3 ambulator mainly limited by sound side knee pain, but this is hoped to be temporary with knee surgery on the horizon.
I’m currently considering what knee unit to utilize to accommodate his weight and activity level.
Budget is a consideration, with some flexibility.
Interested to hear opinions and experiences.
