foam carved models, 3D printed sockets

Jaimie Howard

Hello!

My name is Jaimie Howard and I am currently a student at Eastern Michigan
University in the Orthotics and Prosthetics program. I am conducting a
research study looking at the differences in cost, time and ease of
fabrication between 3D printing sockets and foam carved models used to make
sockets. If any businesses are using one of these two methods of
fabrication and would be willing to take just 5 minutes to answer a few
questions concerning the technology in your practice, it would help advance
the knowledge the field has of the differences in the two methods. Below is
a link to the survey. If you have any other questions or concerns, please
feel free to contact me at [email protected].
