Protesis para la Vida clinic in Ibarra Ecuador is looking for volunteers to provide patient care and teach our young and very dedicated staff. We care for patients with very challenging disabilities. During our last trip we fit a bilateral below elbow amputee, hip disarticulation,scoliosis TLSO, HKAFO, many AK’s and BK’s and numerous children with congenital amputations .
Our clinic is located in the beautiful northern highlands of Ecuador. We can provide in country transportation and housing.
We are also looking for o and p components so please rid yourselves of the clutter in your storage rooms and send us components that are so needed in Ecuador. Join us and test your skills. We fit about 300 patients a year.
