Media Coverage

RICHARD ROSENBERG

List
I am considering contacting our regional newspaper (Cincinnati Enquirer) and talk to an investigative reporter to tell the story of how the Medicare beneficiaries are negatively impacted by the present situation. Is there a downside to doing this?
I presently have a couple of Medicare beneficiaries who qualify for advanced prosthetic components, scoring high in the Amputee Mobility Predictor test. I am hesitant in providing this level of componentry knowing that I won’t receive payment for a minimum of 6 months or possibly even 2 years. I am not able to finance these prostheses anymore in that Medicare is still hold a significant amount of our revenue while we are appealing a number of claims.
I have a continuing dialogue with both senators and my representative’s offices as well as SBA. I think we need to look at all avenues to get our positions known and have the beneficiaries, themselves, on board to contact their congressmen.
Possibly the next step is to get the media involved. Is there a downside?
Thanks
