Hi there,
I am in need of a little guidance here. I have a patient that was referred
to me through a hernia clinic for an abdominal binder. She is over 300 lbs
and the hernia itself is quite heavy. Clearly more is needed than an
abdominal binder, but what I don’t know. I have spent quite a few hours
with this patient brainstorming and trying things and have failed each and
every time. I am hoping there is someone out there that has some experience
with hernia patients that can offer me some ideas. Here are an anterior and
lateral CAD shot of the patient’s abdomen to give you an idea as to what I
am trying to accomplish. Thank you for any help!
