Hello all,
My office manager, who recently just completed the Billing and Coding Seminar, informs me that all medicare patients, beyond the traditional script for services, also require the acquisition of clinical notes from the referring physician. I realize the need for clinical notes on diabetic shoes, but I was surprised to hear the need to acquire notes for more traditional orthotic care such as afos for drop foot etc. Is her claim correct?
