Hello all,
I have an adult transfemoral amputee client I fit with a Seal-In
liner/Suction socket a few weeks ago. I have had him in for several
appointments to troubleshoot the problem and make adjustments. At this
time, it seems that the distal end of his limb changes shape while sitting
with his prosthesis, which causes him to lose suction. I have one more
adjustment idea to try, but before I get him back in I want to look at
alternative systems. I am looking to switch him to the Otto Bock ProSeal
Liner and sealing ring system.
Does anyone have experience with the ProSeal liner and ring suspension?
Or does anyone have any other suggestions for alternative suction
suspension systems which do not rely on a distal sealing ring?
Thanks y’all,
—
