Colleagues, I have 2 transtibial patients who’s limbs are bulbous when
measured over Seal-in X5 liners. Have any of you found a way to make such a
situation work? I have them in flexible sockets and frames with windows
that allow the socket to flex for donning and doffing, but friction is
sometimes too high for easy doffing. I am considering making the flex
sockets end just above the seals, with some type of low friction material
inside the frame to provide less resistance.
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
