High end feet for exo

Stephan Manucharian

Dear List,
As we all know, there are not too many high end feet designed for exo
prostheses. What I did on several occasions, is this: I used a wooden socket
attachment block that accepts 4-hole adapters, such as Otto Bock 5R1 instead
of an ankle block. Then attached an Axtion foot via 4R51 4-hole rotatable
pyramid receiver. This process required 3 lamination: 1) the socket; 2)
shaped up shin with 5R1, then wax around 5R1 to allow the shin to transition
to the proximal shape of the foot and 3) the third lamination. Quite labor
intensive. Any other ideas? Any high end feet that are designed to be used
in exo BK prostheses?
Stephan
