I have an elderly but very active transfemoral amputee. He is currently
wearing a dual socket with the inner socket of BioFlex and suction. A
lock and pin system was not successful. The scar is in the groin at the
adductor level. The medial wall was lowered significantly but it
appeared that the BioFlex was adhering to the skin, even tho this was
below the scar and pulled on the scar. The thinking is to fit the
patient with a sock fit, partial suction, and TES Belt.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to solve this problem?
