Oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court start on Monday, October 3rd. This now includes an argument by the Obama administration on behalf of the state of California. A decision is predicted for early first quarter 2012. California Medi-Cal provider plaintiffs are not optimistic that they will win. Predictions are 5-4 in favor of the State of California with Judge Kennedy being the swing vote. Stay tuned for more information as this lawsuit originating from California unfolds and providers respond.
