Hi Listserve members,
Do you have experience or knowledge with which stance control knee
joints have exceptional ML strength and durability? I’m not aware of
comparison testing that addresses this feature in stance control knee joint
that is designed to primarily control AP forces, but I had a query from an
active KAFO wearer who historically has the weakest links break on his
orthoses due to the extreme varus control his knee requires.

I would speak to Becker Orthopaedic concerning the HD stance control
joints. The main problem is the amount of varus in the knee and the need to
keep the joints square and parallel.
