OPAF is seeking an appropriate venue for the Spring Thranhardt Golf Classic
in Atlanta. One of the courses that we have contacted is the East Lake Golf
Club in Atlanta, the permanent home of the TOUR Championship and the
culminating event in the PGA tour. Our first step to securing East Lake
Golf Club would be getting a club member who would be willing to sponsor us
for the event. Might there be someone within the O & P community in the
greater Atlanta area who is a member of East Lake and might be willing to
sponsor the 2012 Spring Thranhardt Golf Classic?
We would also welcome suggestions for other suitable sites within the
Atlanta perimeter for golf. The Atlanta Hilton is located downtown so we
are seeking a course that would involve minimal travel time for the golfers
on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Your tips would be most helpful.
