Thanks for all the advice but I have to apologize for the
original email. I did it in two parts (was pulled away while writing) and
the auto save did not save the email in its entirety. I did not notice
until after it was sent and I began receiving emails. The physiatrist is
requesting the articulated, thermoplastic with a Ca foot plate and custom
foot bed & toe filler. I have already used a GRAFO as well as a partial
foot insert w/ toe filler and Ca plate. The pt. has had a subsequent
surgery requiring more calcaneal control and alignment which is why he
wishes for the articulated AFO design. Sorry for any confusion and thanks
for the advice.
