Reimbursement question

Garrett Pascavage CPO

I have a question regarding a worker’s comp reimbursement. I have a
patient that has a worker’s comp settlement and medicare. The patient’s
amputation was work related and related to the settlement. Who is responsible for
paying for a limb, Medicare or the settlement? I cannot seem to find a
good answer and any help would be appreciated.
