Hello i have i posted on here before and i have question about how salary and what model is used in this field. Salary is a touchy subject to bring up when your shadowing so i thought i might get some answers on here. First of all how does salary work in this field do you get a base salary and then bonuses for sales; like you would in the audiology field when it comes to hearing aids. Or is it like the Physician model where your paid based on your value to the company, hospital, etc, and you only get raises with years of experience and performance? Also how does one excess the value of CPO,CP, CO; billable hours, services provided, the amount of orthotics and prosthetics sold? Finally what roughly is starting salary for a new graduate straight out of school? (salary+bonuses) if thats how it works.
