I saw a little girl recently that is about to out grow her tilt-style stander.
It was on wheels and tilted from horizontal to about 20 degrees shy of
verticle. When I worked at Shriners in Greenville, we provided verticle
static standers. Our office is not registered with Medicare to provide DME. Am
I able to provide this style tilt-style stander? If so, what are the codes? I
told the mother that this seems like something that she would work with her PT
and DME store with but that I’d research and call her back. Any clarification
on the coding and provision of standers would be great! Thanks,
