The Barr Foundation is pleased to announce that we are now accepting
applications for our Haiti Relief Fund Grants. The grants were established
through donations from fund raisers launched to provide assistance to the
amputees of Haiti.
We would like to thank David Falk, CPO of Falk Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc.
located in Delray Beach, FL who was instrumental in organizing a fund
raiser, Pennies For Prosthetics. Unity Middle School students worked very
hard to raise funds for this worry cause.
We would also like to thank Baltimore City College Choir who donated funds
to the Barr Foundation from 2 concerts that were held to provide limbs to
the children of Haiti.
Applications for the Grants are available on the Barr Foundation Home page
as well as on the International Missions page. Please submit your
application by December 31st.. The Grants will be awarded on the 1st year
anniversary of the earthquake, January 12, 2011.
