When would you use a heavy duty stump shrinker (AK) with a gradient pressure of 50-65 mmHg? Would this not create issues with skin durability and circulation?
Furthermore, with the various manufacturer’s of stump shrinkers, and mmHg of compression separating each manufacturer’s product, why the distinguishable factor of this compression?
I do not recall a doppler reading for stump shrinkers, or educational literature for specific compression, or requirements for one compression over another?…. please explain.
