Visibility

We are currently looking at the benefits of moving from our current office space to one that has better street visibility. Our current space is in the basement of the building, some people have a difficult time finding us, and parking is an issue. We’re looking at an office that is easy to find, great parking, with possible street signage. The majority of our work is referred custom, we have very little walk in retail type; soft goods are not what we’re after. My question is for those that have actually made a physical change that included better street visibility, did this make a difference for your practice? Were the increased costs in rent offset by increased business, and/or are there other intangibles that were worth the move?
