Accommodative UCBLs

Gretchen Wellman

I have a kiddo with CP. His feet are mostly rigid (some minor movement) in pes planovalgus. The doctor would like UCBLs to prevent progression of the deformity. I’ve tried to do a lined accommodative ucbl but am having trouble with the fit– either too difficult to don or too corrective. Have any of you done something similar? Any suggestions?
