Its final….Stock & Bills are dead as of September 27th. Not just DJO, all of them.

You cannot have and DMEPOS entity and a Physician sharing the same office. The Physician can supply his own patients with braces, but he cannot refer his patients to another Medicare billing DME provider in his office. That could be a stock and bill or a even a complete O&P shop. Read the PDF.
But if you have a local O&P shop you can fit the Doc’s patients in his office and use the modifier code. The difference is you have a different office and provider number. DJO may have a different provider number but they use the Docs office as their own. They pay “rent”. Thats the no-no. Mediare says in the above PDF that this has shown to lead to fraud.
