Hello List,
For those of you that still use patient charts, I have a question regarding progress notes. When our receptionist makes up a patient chart does she automatically have to put a progress note sheet in it, or can she put one in as needed. I don’t remember what ABC told us several years ago. It seems we have a LOT of wasted progress notes in all our charts. Do any of you know the ruling on this ?
