Help needed: Review board forming, O&P library

A review board is in the process of being formed to review the content of a new section of the O&P Virtual Library (www.oandplibrary.org).  This is an open invitation to practitioners, physical therapists, medical personnel to join this board.  Your help and expertise is needed and appreciated. 
 
This board will review the digital preservation efforts of the O&P Virtual Library, acting as peer reviewers for a collection of unpublished documents, photos, and research related to the early development of the Narrow ML- Ischial Containment above knee socket.  The link below is to a posted X-ray image taken at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in the mid 1970’s that is a sample of one of the recovered images showing a change in femoral adduction resulting from alignment and socket modification.

One of the unique and valuable documents recovered by the O&P library is an unpublished 1970’s research study involving 73 X-rays of 51 above knee amputees (mostly Vietnam amputees).  An abstract was published contemporaneously with the research but the complete study was never published.  The purpose of this project is to provide a home for this historic document and many related others, so that they may be accessible in the future by researchers.  A review board is needed to preserve this history.

The O&P Virtual Library is an offering of the 501C non-profit Digital Resource Foundation for O&P.  After the review is complete, this library section, like all our other postings, will be freely accessible to all.
