First of all I would like to mention that the list has been awesome in
responding and its quite a good learning tool for practioners newly
entering the field.
I have a patient here for whom I am making a double upright AFO. He has
Medicare as his primary insurance. My question was as to how many
stirrups can I attach to the shoes in 1 year. Does Medicare cover for a
second caliper plate attachment immediately or does the patient have to
wait for an year. I have already got some input from within my company
but I was wondering what the outer world was doing in instances like
this.
