Due to the favorable response of practitioners and companies requesting to
be included via email for NY State matters of interest, I have placed a sign
up form on our website www.nysaaop.org . The current list is comprised of
old and new data, so if you have received the last email about our April
meeting then you are already on it and do not need to do anything, but may
want to go to your subscription link on the bottom of the email to correct
or add information.
This email list is not a list serve it is only used to disseminate
information regarding future events, licensing and other matters that may
come up. From what I have been told as we get closer to licensing whether
you are for or against it there is going to be immediate communications
necessary. The chapter cannot afford the time and expense of sending faxes
and paper mailing without raising your dues. So our plan is to send
membership applications, renewals, etc. all by email in the future.
Right now there are three categories for this list 1- PO practitioners, 2-
Pedorthists and 3- Exhibitors. If you do not want to be on the list then
simply go to the link on the bottom to remove yourself. This is not shared
and contrary to popular beliefs this feature does really remove you from
that list.
