Hello colleagues,
I have a rather wealthy patient from a very prominent local family who has had a cva with the usual foot and ankle involvement. Unfortunately, her ankle is also fixed in equino varus and I have fairly sucessfully treated her with a solid ankle AFO with ML control. She has had custom shoes made in the past and I was told that they cost her several thousand dollars. Does anyone know of someone who custom makes high end shoes? Any help would be appreciated. I will look at the styles availible from Acor and Trumold, but those are the only two that I have worked with. They will have to accomodate my brace.
