Dear List:
We have many managed care contracts that are tied to Medicare allowables. With the low reimbursements on most of the K codes, we find ourselves in a delema. Many time we are providing services for less than what is costs us to purchase the item. We are bound by the contracts to provide services for all codes. They will not let us carve them out of the contract. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
