Dear fellow clinicians, I have a gentleman that presents with a quad tendon tear that has been surgically repaired x3 Right and x2 left. The most recent rupture occured april 04 and has since been repaired. My question to you is we were asked to provide a reliance brace, I have done key word searches and contacted several vendors unsuccessfully. Has anyone heard of this device?
This individual is a twenty-four year old 6’4″ and two hundred plus pounds, he play’s aggresive basketball x3 weekly and occasionally racquet ball. He has no plans to discontinue. He presents with full ROM and 5+ strength. Any other Orthotic treatment options would be most appreciated.
