ertl amputee

Dear list members…hoping someone out there can give me some
guidance.
I have just met my first ertl amputee who will be ready for
casting in the next 2-4 weeks…..
Are there any words of wisdom you wish to give in socket shapes/
casting techniques or other fitting hints for such a residual
limb.
Patient will be wearing a locking liner and prior to the
proceedure did have a tendancy to volume fluctuations.
Any experience gratefully received.
