Plaster source results

List,
Thanks again to all who responded. You are too many to mention…and my
email client ate all my saved oandp messages : (

The consensus seems to be to use #1 casting or #1 molding plaster with
molding as the favorite. You can order it from a building or masonry
supply company. Prices vary from $10 to $20 for 100 pound bags. Some areas
offer 50 pound bags for a bit more that half the 100 pound bag cost.
Depending on your climate and how fast you use plaster and/or space will
determine how much you need to order. Areas that have high humidity should
stick to smaller orders. Some supply companies will give a break on
shipping if you buy in large quantities such as a pallet. If you have a
small operation you should pick it up yourself to keep your costs lower. If
you need to have your plaster set up faster add a light dusting of salt
after you have mixed it…then mix in the salt. You will need to experiment
to determine your exact salt to plaster ratio.

On the other hand…

I fat fingered the date of Veterans day! It is this Thursday the 11th of
November.
