The San Franciso Chronicle today, Saturday September 9/18/04 features story
of Chad Crittenden Oakland Californian amputee whom is competing for million
dollar prize money in the CBS television show “Survivor’s Contest. ”
” He just impressed me as a courageous young man with a positive attitude”,
says Dan Sorkin, amputee and founder of Stumps R Us, a amputee support group
based in California. Dan visited Chad in the hospital after his amputation
surgery. Those of us that know Dan , know he has been an inspiration to
hundreds of amputees. Kudos Dan !
